Home About Us

Our work is about making the most out of adaptation, quality and productivity.  It is selecting the right genetics, matching them to environments that can take advantage and delivering those improvements to the consumer via quality protected systems.

We can advise on improvement strategies, provenance maintenance and utilisation and commercialisation.

During his time with CSIRO, Dr James developed the first broadly-adapted soybean varieties with enhanced quality for food products. He found naturally occurring changes in the types of protein in Soy that meant soybeans with the changes, but same protein content, would produce up to double the silken tofu yield and that tofu was of better quality.

Soybean varieties and production systems for specialty uses such as Natto, Sprouts, Miso, Nimame and Edamame.

Cashmere that is produced by healthy animals in special Australian environments is brighter, longer and softer. We’re working on higher productivity and improved profitability.

Leucaena hybrids and propagation systems for feed, agroforestry and carbon capture with up to double the establishment speed, early vigour and productivity.

Cowpea, Mungbean and other beans and pastures with special qualities for high value markets.

Buyers want to know that their food and fibre is produced in an Environmentally, Animal and Human friendly manner. We’re developing credentialling systems.

We’re experienced in working across challenging environments in Australia and  tropical Asia.
